Eyes Akimbo

Is anyone else as alarmed as I am by this character's eyes?
I know the slanty eye thing poses a challenge, but probably the best course of action here would have been to place the far eye up a little higher.
Also, ear-danishes, heart-cutout on chest. Stop making me sad, entertainment universe.
