I feel kind of badly about it, but so far I'm not liking Wilco very much. The music itself seems very nice, especially the countryoid bits, but... I don't like the singer. I must have some sort of unseen mental indictment against Dude Next Door vocals. To me, they seem kind of... bland. He just sounds like some guy, but not in a charming way; too polished for that. Polished anonymity. I object. Sorry, everyone.
