Poor Ursula K. Leguin. The Scifi channel is doing to her what they did to zombie Frank Herbert (in short: poorly acted TV-movieization with high production values but crummy dialog and bafflingly shuffled characters). Except Danny Glover is the token black dude in a universe where white guys are usually the evil ones. Poor unloved nonwhite actors that must have jumped up, hopeful, when a TV version of the books was announced.
