May. 19th, 2005 03:46 pmWell, the company's back from Star Wars. It's worth seeing for free, and is relatively enjoyable while you're watching it, at an average level of caring about the Star Wars universe. Lots of problems, of course, and Grievous got the short end of the screentime stick. Acting was somewhat better overall, but dialog wasn't really any different. My theory is that given the amount of sheer stuff that had to happen in this movie, there wasn't time to linger on Hayden Christiansen's fat face (and hockey hair!) so much, so the whole thing was more action-heavy, and therefore faster-moving and less stultifyingly painful. Except for Natalie Portman.
