Jun. 13th, 2005 11:03 amFluffle! Man, that was a fun and sugary weekend. Jeremy was up visiting me and miz Moneypenny, and we did a bunch of things.
Mount Auburn Cemetery: Hawks galore. One, possibly a juvenile, we watched being harried for a good fifteen minutes (and possibly longer) by little songbirds who wanted him further away from their territory. He just sat there looking forlorn. Our guess was that he was seeking his own territory, and doing a poor job of it.
Howl's Moving Castle: Bore the stigma of a book-to-movie conversion whose architects were too far into to realise it wasn't quite coming together. Enjoyable, but ultimately kind of rife with loose ends and confusing motivations. Less simply-joyful and exciting than Spirited Away. I guess I'll have to read the book.
Cape Cod: Totally great. Gay as all get out. My first daylight contact with a beach since I was a child. JP got to enjoy an awesome major muscle cramp.
