This was pretty awesome. I'd actually never seen Veronica Lake in a movie before, and I was pleased to find out that she's actually quite a good actor. This also had Hugh Beaumont (the father from Leave it to Beaver), an army buddy with a metal plate in his head, a Raymond Chandler script, and the most adorably-characterised kidnappers I've seen in recent memory. Recommended.
