The tail

looks like a whale's mouth from this angle. It would be cute to paint eyes on that end too and have the hanger double as the blowhole.

Are the ears holes for growing plants in?

No, it's much smaller than that; it's only a couple of inches tall. Plant-in-ear is pretty entertainingly abstract, though.

Yeah, digital (Painter). I've never actually used real oil paint. I'd probably accidentally eat it.
