Actually, I think there was an Animated Series episode that detailed his origins, so he got to run around as an English Gentleman for a while, using his Highly British Name. (I could be wrong, though.)

I figure "catch-all" is okay. He's such a goofball, and he looks like a giant silly vampire. None of him makes any sense, and that amuses me.

Don't get me wrong- his Goth Club Colossus look is something to be admired. He just reminds me too much of Cable et al in the mad, 80's race to Wolverine new characters into the mysterious, undefinable-powers badass with unknowable plans. 'Cuz, you know, Wolverine sells. That drove me nuts.

And plus he was interested in the Summers Bros. That was a surprisingly large black mark for me.
