OK, you forced me to google to find out that this is from Mad Magazine #10, published in 1952. That's some edgy stuff for 1952. One of these days, i really have to get my rant on about superhero comics.

Man O Man.

Classic MAD was the greatest. Shame that the EC Hardbound collection stops as soon as they shifted to a "Magazine" format, which MAD did fairly early on. Still, there's brilliance. The shit they did mocking Disney was HILARIOUSLY sacreligious. They'd be sued into a glass parking lot if they tried that today. Good stuff.

He fails to understand physics in the first panel! Shattering wrists I can understand, but bullets don't knock people over unless they're already way off-balance. Or unless you're using some kind of braced artillery piece to shoot them.

As do I. She also has some tee-riffic little running-around-like-a-gimp panels that I will scan maybe later.
