I would just like to state that Footloose is the WORST EVIL PIECE OF CRAP ever conceived. It's contrived, it's transparent, it's pointless, and it's EMBARRASSING. I want to give examples, but I also want to stab Kevin Bacon in the face with a sharpened trowel.

Jeez, what hasn't he been good in? He was excellent in "Murder in the First", an OK movie that would be crappy without him. He was great in "Stir of Echoes". Although his character wasn't the one with all the good material in "Mystic River", he still put in damn good work. He did well in the otherwise forgettable "Quicksilver". And let's not forget his debut in "Animal House".
