Since I'm confined again to a small verbal space, I will link to this pretty terrible logo over at typophile for London's Olympics thing. I don't know about reflecting London, but regardless it's pretty appalling all on its own.

May. 2nd, 2007 01:23 pmYuckers, so very uncalled-for, Harry Potter IMAX poster.
(Here's the complete post for that, in case I'm erring in linking to a sub-page.)

Walnut, Boyd?
Dec. 26th, 2006 06:46 pmWelp, we spent last night watching crappy crap on television and Silence of the Lambs on chmmr's monitor and Hard Gay videos on wii-youtube. It was pretty cool. We don't seem to have any food in the house, though.
I've messed up two separate mini-projects today. At least I have it together sufficiently to attempt said projects. Well, uh, here's some hybrid video foolishness I perpetrated, anyhow. Maybe I'll make you, the internet, a mix, instead.
In other news, this is rather great: Res. Evil 4 live action inappropriateness.

Oct. 3rd, 2006 10:33 amIf I may, I'd like to be horrible for a small amount of time and point out that this tight jeans crap really is something I wish would go away. Even skinny people look sort of horrifying in them. Guys, if they are skinny liek punk or what have you, seem to do okay, but jeez. Not females.
...I'm already sorry I made a post about this.
Someone should comment and tell me what they hate so that I feel better.

May. 17th, 2006 10:18 amMy brother was the lucky recipient of the jacket I found on ebay that was worn by some filthy extra in Battlefield Earth (ten bucks american). He says:
I tried the jacket on while still smelling of Psychlos... ewww. At first I thought I had it on inside out, but unfortunately, that's the way it was made. I couldn't find out who wore it, probably in a dark upside down scene. Thanks though.
This is going to hurt
Apr. 26th, 2006 05:51 pmOh friends. So, I love a terrible television show called Forever Knight. It's a german-canadian piece of silliness (PRODUCTION VALUES!!) that has many off-kilter-looking people who went on to work on such fabulous things as The Lexx and Darkman 3 (the same guy. The coroner character was the voice of Jean Grey in the X-Men animated series (not Evolution, the lame one)). Anyway, I just got a couple of seasons on DVD (I guess the fan-petitioning... worked?) and ever since we started watching, I've had this English Beat song in my head, because the show has a character called Jeanette.
( So, in short, this is only funny for those of you who have experience with both. )
I'm sorry. I'm really really sorry. The real words.
(Back when I was in college, some guy wandered into the TV room while I was watching an episode, and he summed up the plot as concerning 'a vampire cop looking for love.' Ever since then, this has been my favorite way of referring to the show.)
